Dr. Jennifer M. Riley, Immediate Past President


Years in Office: 2016 - 2020

Chapter Initiated: Nu Beta, Mississippi State University

Accomplishments: Soror Riley is currently serving as State Coordinator for MS and as the Co-Chair for Protocol and Traditions. She is also a certified DID trainer,  a member of the National Leadership Academy Delta Professional and Leadership Development Committee.

Under her administration, the chapter  received many awards such as Chapter of the Year, multiple Red Ribbon Chapter, and multiple Distinguished Services Awards in Economic Development, Educational Development, Political Awareness and Involvement, and Physical and Mental Health. Under her leadership, MCAC also had its first membership intake process (27 initiates), increased scholarship awards to the community, and hosted its first international awareness and involvement program with an international chapter (partnered with Jamaica Alumnae Chapter in the Southwest Region).



Katrina B. Myricks

Years in Office: 2012 - 2016
Chapter Initiated: Kappa Pi, Delta State University    
Accomplishments: Soror Katrina B. Myricks was recently elected to the office of member, Southern Region Nominating Committee during the 2018 Southern Regional Conference held in Nashville, Tennessee. 
Soror Myricks, who was initiated into Delta through the Kappa Pi Chapter at Delta State University in 1986, has served the sorority in several capacities. Her Delta vita includes: member of Southern Region’s Election Committee and of the SR Program Planning and Development Team. She currently serves MCAC as the chair of the chapter’s Nominating Committee, and has served as Risk Management Chair, as well as, Chapter Vice President and President.

Daphne M. Higgins

Years in Office: 2008 - 2012
Chapter Initiated: Delta Pi, Jackson State University
Accomplishments: Southern Regional Protocol and Traditions Chair (Current)
Southern Regional Secretary (2012 – 2016)
Assistant Southern Regional Secretary (2011 – 2012)
An inaugural mentee for the first class of Southern Regional Leadership Institute, Higgins has also served as a member of the National Information and Communications Team. 
The chartering president of Madison County (MS) Alumnae Chapter, her Delta vita also includes serving as a current member of the chapter’s Nominating Committee and past chair of the state of Mississippi Protocol and Traditions, as well as the 2016 Southern Region Delta of the Year for the state of Mississippi.
